RECYCLING HUB IN CUCKFIELD

A partnership project between Greener Cuckfield and Cuckfield Parish Council with funding from The Cuckfield Society.

Making it easier for local residents to recycle more of their waste. See below for details on what we accept at The Queens Hall. All items for recycling must be CLEAN, DRY and LOOSE. Please clean and dry them before you drop them off, as otherwise they will contaminate other items in the bin and we will have to throw the contents away.

SOFT PLASTIC

FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT ABLE TO TAKE THEIR SOFT PLASTIC TO A SUPERMARKET

WHAT WE DO WITH YOUR SOFT PLASTIC

We take the soft plastic we collect to the local Co-op Food shop at Whitemans Green. It is then sent within the UK to be processed and turned into new plastic products, such as playground equipment, watering cans and dustbins.

WHAT WE DO WITH YOUR DENTAL, BEAUTY AND STATIONERY PLASTIC

We take your dental, beauty and stationery plastic to a local TERRACYCLE group that packs it and ships it within the UK to be processed into new plastic products
